The Burgos Cathedral VIII Centenary Foundation put us in charge of the organisation of a bell concert for the opening of the centenary programme. To do so, we worked together with Llorenç Barber, composer and director of the piece, in the creation of a new symphony interpreted from 14 bell towers by 70 local musicians and volunteers. A marvelous pyrotechnical finale topped the ending of this great city event.

On the occasion of the International Day against gender violence and working side by side with the Gender and Diversity Policies Department of Madrid city council, we created a project destined to the artistic transformation of public spaces metaphorically dangerous for women.

The work “Agua” by artist Trinidad Irisarri, transformed the tunnel between Calle Lagasca and Retiro into a big swimming pool. A space of freedom, wellness and security against the sensation of fear that women feel in certain public places of our cities.

Within the framework of the Prado-Retiro UNESCO Candidacy for World Heritage, the city council requested us to start a great artistic event to take place in the locations and monuments of these areas of Madrid and to establish a contemporary dialect with the Institutions and spaces.

To do so, we designed a programme that included plastic and visual artists who work with Light as their inspirational element. More than 15 pieces and installations of both national and international artists inhabited and transformed the perception of Paseo del Prado, El Retiro, Puerta de Alcalá, Cibeles, Neptuno and Apolo fountains and the surroundings creating an outdoor museum. A first Light Festival in Madrid.
