SWATCH CREATIVE NATIVES FESTIVAL, OCTOBER 2018: A BLEND OF EXPERIENCES TO CELEBRATE MADRID’S CREATIVE ENERGY

From October 22nd until the 27th, Swatch Creative Natives Festival became an open space to connect with Madrid’s contemporary creative scene. Spreading the creative values of Swatch Cities project: Swatch’s bet on the transformative role of creativity in the city. We produced an innovative programme that combined learning experiences, conferences, workshops, interventions, concerts and celebrations open to anyone interested in today’s contemporary creation in our city.

The iconic burger chain Carl’s Jr., property of CKE Restaurants, opened their first restaurant in Spain working hand by hand with the group Beer&Food. The first establishment of the brand in our country is located at Gran Vía 45, Madrid, although Beer&Food plans to get rapidly in the Spanish market on the next few years with a strong development in the main cities of our country. Their second establishment will open up to the public before the end of the year at Centro Comercial Plenilunio (Madrid).

We created the first Parisian pop up, La Plâce Lipault, that was held on May 27th, 28th and 29th in one of the most special spaces in Madrid centre, the greenhouse at San Lorenzo 11.

A weekend in which the Parisian customs surprised La Plâce Lipault attendees, much more than just a simple pop up boutique to learn about the season novelties of the brand; a place where french cuisine, flowers, music, art and many other surprises were played out in a single space aimed to move the spirit from the streets of the French capital into our city.

Coll&Cortes Gallery Art together with their international partner Colnaghi Gallery, requested us the creation and production of thematic acts inspired by baroque iconography for the presentation of their gallery to important clients from the art scene at TEFAF Maastricht fair.

The event took place at Château Neercane in Maastricht during 2016 and 2017. There, we designed and produced “La Belleza-Bacchanalia barroca” and “Stravaganzza Barroca”, both productions were highly regarded by the clients at the Gallery. Due to the success of those thematic acts, in 2018, Callia Art Foundation invited us to participate in their annual art and patronage awards ceremony at Ritz Hotel in Madrid where we represented Bacchanalia Barroca.
