IV Centenary of the death of Miguel de Cervantes

Between 2015 and 2017, Ciudadano Kien implemented artistic actions and programmes for different institutions that celebrated the IV Centenary of Miguel Cervantes.
‘Hidalgos de Hoy para lugares Cervantinos’ was an action-show for the Tourism Council of Castilla La Mancha that we created for the promotion of the virtual passport of the Cervantine Places. A work in progress that fused painting and live music in the Plaza de Sánchez Bustillo in Madrid. Ricardo Cávolo and Judith Mateo accompanied us on this adventure.
‘Encuentro de Artes Escénicas en lugares cervantinos’ was a programme commissioned by the Ayuntamiento de Alcalá de Henares to close the activities of the IV centenary of Cervantes in the city.
Places such as the Plaza de Cervantes, Plaza de San Diego, La Capilla del Oidor, etc., were the stage for contemporary proposals performed by street theatre companies of recognised prestige.
‘lcalá celebrates Cervantes in the Festival de la Palabra - The 180 activities revolve around the author of Don Quixote and the Mexican Fernando del Paso.’
