Cavalcades, parades and festivities in the city

The team that today makes up Ciudadano Kien directed the Office of cultural activities in the public space of the Madrid City Council's Arts Department between 2004 and 2011.

This is when we turned the concept of parades and festivities that had been carried out and transformed the Three Kings Parade into a great street show that transcended the merely childish.

We have carried out, within this framework of festivities in the city, large festivals for family audiences; the creation of conceptualised parades for the Carnival Festivities, medium and large format shows of the best national and international companies, the creation and production of Zarzuelas on the occasion of the San Isidro Festivities in Madrid, etc.

The city becomes the stage, its squares and corners are used as playful spaces, transforming them for a moment into meeting places with contents created to meet the needs of all audiences.
