Prado Museum 200 years

The night of Saturday 24 November was one of the most special and unprecedented in the 200-year history of the Prado Museum.
Ciudadano Kien directed and produced a show that told the story of the Museum's 200th anniversary. An aerial theatre action by La Fura dels Baus, a videomapping projection with the voice of Juan Echanove by Onionlab on the Velázquez façade and a fireworks display by Pirotecnia Vulcano.
‘Those attending the show were amazed to see how the walls of the emblematic Madrid building drew its history with lights and geometries, giving the façade an unprecedented appearance’.
